Venue profile

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Wedding DJ

A resort spread across the Sandia foothills, with a grand ballroom and a forested pavilion among its wedding spaces.

Tamaya is a full resort with a few different wedding spaces to choose from — a grand ballroom for a larger, formal night, and a forested pavilion with mountain views for something a little more outdoors.

The spaces

The Tamaya Ballroom

The resort's largest indoor space, able to combine into one room for a formal wedding banquet of up to 500 guests. Our standard setup for a larger Tamaya wedding.

The Cottonwoods Pavilion

Set in a cottonwood forest with Sandia Mountain views, with its own ceremony space and gazebo next door. This is the space we're at most — a covered pavilion for up to 300 guests.

House of the Hummingbird

A covered outdoor structure designed after an ancient Pueblo ruin, with views toward Tuyuna Mesa. We don't play here often, but it's part of the property.

Real setups

A few of our own nights at Tamaya — the Cottonwoods gazebo under the cottonwoods, and the ballroom set up for the reception.
