Prom Season Over... Time For Weddings!

Cutmaster Music had another successful prom season! We would like to wish our congrats to the graduating classes of 2010. Our schools this year included Manzano High School, Sandia Prep, Bosque Prep, Pojoaque Valley High School and Taos High School. It was an exciting year for us as we tried out some new lighting schemes to spice up the shows. With a focus of many schools to cut down on the "dirty-dancing," it was nice to see many of the top songs being in the "dance" genre, which tends to be more up tempo music. Although the way the kids dance does not necessarily bother me, it can tend to get raunchy if you let your hip-hop sets go too long. By blending beats and mixing in and out of different genres, we seemed to hit our groove this year and received a lot of compliments from both administrations and the students. We're always striving for that happy medium. So... thank you to all schools that enjoyed the Cutmaster experience. And if you liked what you saw this year, it's never too early to book next years dances!!!
As the the prom season comes to an end, the beats of hip-hop, dance, top-40 will go with it. But now comes the classic hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's and even some of the contemporary sounds... as it is time for the summer weddings. We have a great lineup of events this summer including favorite venues in Albuquerque and Santa Fe such as the Hacienda Dona Andrea and new venues like Casa Esencia. We are looking forward to a great summer and hope to see happy faces jamming to the tunes of Cutmaster Music!
