Thomas
is coming to you with over ten years of DJ'ing experince
in Albuquerque and surrounding areas. He spent three years
as a resident DJ at Gotham/Midnight Rodeo and a small residency
at Neds Down Town. Thomas was invloved with music at a very
early age learning multiple insturments and even playing
in the school band with Chris. He is now specializing in
club style DJ'ing (beat matching) and ALL genre's of music!
There isn't a dance that he can't handle.
Thomas's hobbies include playing basketball, sand volleyball,
and
spending time with friends, family, and wife Melinda.
Monica
Romero
Monica
along with husband Chris, is a co-owner and founder of Cutmaster
Music. Her role in the company is mainly concentrated in
emcee'ing and the organizing of events. She was introduced
into the mobile entertainment business three years ago by
Chris and is constantly gaining experience with each and
every event. Her day job as a teacher makes her a wonderful
asset when it comes to teaching dances and dealing with
clients during their event planning. Monica specializes
in weddings, school dances and parties.
Monica's
hobbies include salsa dancing, reading to her son Jonas,
and enjoying time with family and friends.
Melinda Singkanati
Melinda
is one of Cutmaster Music's newest DJ's. She has been
happily married to Thomas for a year and was introduced
to the DJ scene by him. She has quickly picked up the
ropes around the decks and maintains her own, whether
it is running lights, spinning, or dealing with clients.
Her daytime job as a teacher makes her very useful at
school dances and contemporary weddings, since she is
always up to date on the current music the kids are listening
to. You may also find Melinda taking pictures at our events,
some of which you see on this site!
Melinda's
hobbies include photography, guitar hero, tetris, and
keeping Thomas in check...
Joselyn Nelson
Joselyn
has been with Cutmaster Music for almost a year. She has
quickly moved up the ranks and finds herself getting better
with each and every event. She manages to work weekends
with Cutmaster, while managing to go to school and teach
dance! Music is in her blood and it shows in her performance.
Joselyn specializes in weddings and school events.
Jos's hobbies
include dancing, dancing, and dancing!
James
Parker "Ox"
Ox
has been with Cutmaster Music for almost 2 years. He is
a very quiet, mild mannered DJ, but is always ready to rock
a party. He is constantly getting better on the decks and
is a great "people-person." On top of those great
qualities, he really is an "ox" when it comes
to lifting heavy speakers and equipment!
Ox's hobbies
include spending time with his girlfriend and lifting heavy
things for Thomas!
Alvin Broussard
Al
is the newest member of Cutmaster Music. He brings his
smooth style and immense knowledge of music to the table.
A local in the Albuquerque scene, you may have seen him
in the gym, or playing on "The Pit" floor for
the Lobos a few years back. Al is also a basketball coach
at Highland High School and his experience with kids makes
him a perfect fit for school dances and larger events.
Al's hobbies include coaching
basketball, playing ball in his spare time, and looking
"GQ" wherever he goes!
DJ Denali
Denali
is the mascot of Cutmaster Music. He is always working on
his skills with the 1's and 2's and specializes in scratching
records, biting records, and eating records. His role in
the company is to provide his 4 years of club expertise
(but that's 28 dog years!) and also get rid of any crazy
cats trying to disturb the peace.
Denali's
hobbies include running, rolling over, playing in the grass,
and will pretty much do anything for a bone!
Chris
is the owner of Cutmaster Music and has been DJ'ing for almost
6 years. He has held residencies at Neds downtown and the
Paramount in Santa Fe. The club experience gave Chris the
skills to handle the microphone and the ability to rock a
party! He handles most of the DJ'ing and emcee'ing and specializes
in weddings/clubs/and school dances, but really enjoys the
art of mixing all genres and styles of music. With Chris,
you get a DJ that can bring the likes of "club-style"
beatmatching, mixing, and scratching to your wedding, party,
etc!
